A Historical piece written for the glossy South African lifestyle magazine 'Odyssey'. While not purely a 'travel article', this piece brings together many of the findings from Jason's explorations in the region to uncover ancient stories and beliefs about dolphins and whales.

A Journey piece for the 'Distant Shores' in-flight magazine that wanted a diary-type article on far-flung destinations. Jason's experiences of living in the Canadian Arctic lent themselves well to the format of this article - one of his earliest travel pieces to be published. In addition, this year sees the publication of Jason's first full-length book 'Deep Voices' (Trafford Publishing, 2010) - a travelogue that explores the myths and sacred beliefs about dolphins and whales held by the many different cultures he has encountered on six continents over the last decade.
